Anyone Used This Auto Fish Feeder?

I use both an Eheim one for flake/pellet and a Fishmate one for pellet/catfish type food for when I go away. 99 days does seem a bit extreme for an autofeeder. You might have more joy asking in the equipment section. I can recommend the Eheim one though, the Fishmate one isn't so reliable and I've had mixed results with it. Just make sure you test it fully for a few days before you actually go away as they sometimes dump loads of food in one minute then none the next, so it's best to get it sorted before you leave. Oh, a brand new batteries are a necessity!

Hi jetskidia :)

This could be an interesting topic and I think I'll move it to Tropical Chat where it will get more views than it will here. :D

IMHO, fish benefit from personal attention and by using a feeder on a regular basis you risk not looking at them with the critical eye that every tank needs to spot a potential problem before it gets serious. When on vacation it's always best to leave a tank in the care of someone who can feed them, do a water change or two, and take care of any trouble that comes up. In the absence of such a friend, it might be best to just not feed them at all.
