I'm getting some chain loaches on Tuesday. I've read that they need very good water quality and plenty of oxygenation, and also that they eat everything (including small snails). Also that they aren't as shy as some loaches and will come out in the day. But I wondered what they're like "personality" wise?

It's exciting getting a new species, but a bit scary as well. -_-

Never even heard of them Anna. :/

I'll be looking forward to some pics and info on them when you get them tho. ;)

anna i dont no much about fish as you no but im trying wot i know about them

is there not shy atall they are night and day fish that not only swim at the bottom but also in the middle

water has to be very good (exellent )conditions

Dwarf Loaches can be kept in a small shoal in a tank with a soft substrate and a number of rocks and roots arranged to form suitable hiding-places. The water should be soft and should be replaced regularly.

hope helps you prob no all this allready
