Any one knows this 2 plants?

Hi all I have a 20g pure plants tank set up next to my window and a 130wt light install on top will turn it on during night until bed and co2 system install with mostly 3day per fertilize since fer dry up pretty fast . so generally its about 14 hours of daily good healthy sunlight recently I bought like 2 plants from a LFS. name here

Variegated Acorus
Green Hedge

I didnt' really know much of these 2 species but just for the looks I bought both of them but later I found out that green hedge isn't really an aquartic plants . Any one have any idea can this 2 plants staying under water? I have look at those plant id site not much cant find the variegated acorus at all and only a little info for the green hedge

I have some of the Variegated Acorus, got it at petsmart. It's not doing well at all. I have to admit, that I got it because it was pretty (hey... I'm a girl, what can I say). After getting it home, I did the research, and found out that it's more of a terrarium plant. Like moist environment, but not totally submersed.

Neither of those plants are aquatic. They die submerged.

OH darm why LFS sell plants that r not for aquarium. Damn I want to kill them. But thx guys for the help .
