I currently have a 12g (24"x12"x12") sitting unused in my bedroom which I want to fill, just looking for a few suggestions as to what to do with it / what to put in it as I don't wanna go down the route of standard community stuff again. Is it large enough for any form of cichlid, or anything else that isnt bog standard bread and butter community stuff?
All input apreciated!

the only cichlids you could do are kribs or rams.

i would suggest a pair of blue german rams not bolivian( they are harder to look after and blue rams look alot better!)

you can add community fish to this as they get along with most community non aggressive fish.

not enough room even for small cichlids such as shell dwellers etc?

You could try a mini planted tank!

it would be pretty cheap too because it is not a very big tank. you could get some cool inverts. Or maybe some semi agressive fish.
