It's one of the more expensive plants in Chicago. I never see it at Petsmart or Petco, so I have to get it at a LFS.

It is normally $12.99 for the "green", and $17.99 for the "gold". They only come potted at my favorite store, and they are HUGE and healthy.

This weekend they have all ferns and anubias 50% off, so I bought 2 "green".

I'm thinking about going back (on Sunday) and get a couple more. :shifty:

I'm curious how much everyone pays for theirs and if you get it from a chain store, LFS, or the internet. :dunno:

anubias nana here in the philippines sold for as low as 300Php 5.3 USD to as high as 600 Php roughly 11 USD :) i buy mine from a local errrr.... distributor .. yah i think thats what you should call him ;) hahaha

Stores are a rip off, at maidenhead aquatics they chareg £5 for a anubias nana and then at a local store they get top quality potted plants for only £2.50 including nana

My LFS has all the potted at £2.50 and all the bunched at £1.25. Pretty good going by the prices mentioned above.

Around here $5.00 to $20.00 , depending both size and the amount of leaves .

If yours are huge , and are 50% off that price , I'd say you got a good deal .

I love any plant I can't kill

Will you be getting some java fern as well ?

No java fern. I just bought a few ferns at Petsmart last week.
The only ferns that this store has are potted, and the last potted ferns I bought, I almost destroyed getting it un-potted.

I just got back from there, I bought 2 of the "gold"anubias nana. It's not as big as the green, but I like the color. Now I just have to decide how I want to put them in the tanks. I might tie them down to some small pieces of bogwood.

I'll post pics in a few weeks when I get a digicam.

mine was free from the LFS.. one of the employees just gave it to me because i wanted a plant for my 2.5gal betta tank and they had nothing for sale. but there was some anubias in another tank, so he just gave it to me. :)
