Just upgraded my tank to a Rena corner 290L (77 us gal) i currently have 2 clown loaches, 5 bronze/albino cory, 2 flying fox, 1 siamese flying fox, 14 cardinal tetra, 3 platy, 4 plecs (all small ones that stay small) 2 dwaf gourarmis and one female betta but the tank looks so empty. As its a fairly high tank and i have alot of bottom dwellers i could do with upper high dwelling fish. Any suggestions? would like some fairly large species. Dimesions of the tank are H70cm x W121cm x D85cm (corner tank)

Thanks.

Hatchet if are quite cool and love the top of the tank so long as you have got a tight fitting hood

african butterfly fish? don't know much about them so research compatibility, but they're reasonably big and stay at the surface!

Or you could get a pair of rainbow cichlids - they're very active and would swim back and forth making the tank look well stocked ;)

Or some rainbowfish? Or some angels?

Yep - although many folks say angels will eat tetras (neons are on their diet in the wild) I've had no problems with mine - but it is a heavily planted 6ft tank. Rainbow cichlids and rainbowfish are both peaceful community species so would probably be better. Many rainbowfish need a higher ph, but boesmanni are ok in slightly acidic to neutral ph (or higher I think too - a good all-rounder).
