Hi, My newly set up, well a couple of months, brackish has been hit by algae
. It's not bad on the glass at all but the [dead] ocean rock is becoming covered in it.
Seeing as it is inhabited by three GSP's snails are not as option and the only alternative will be to scrub the rock. I don't see this as being successful as the there are way too many nooks and crannies....and a hell of a lot of rock!
So my question is....will do it do any harm to just leave it? Admittedly it does not look very nice [But I'll just say that was the look I was going for
] I know another option would be to black the tank out, but don't know if that would work either.
Will try to add some pics in a min so you can see the extent of the damage.

Just to add...has anyone tried this product?
