Anyone know where I can buy Altum Angelfish in the UK? None of the lfs by me have ever stocked them nor will they be. I'd preferably like to buy them by mail order. I've tried Tri-Mar but they don't have them. It's so frustrating having found a fish that I would really love to keep but not being able to source them.

Hi WK

A hard fish to get hold of in the UK. One of my local shops claims to have some. Selling them for £5.00 for 1.5" fish, but they are not altums, just standard angels, a fin ray count proved the type.

My LFS that I use is all ways trying to import them, the owner wants some, plus lots of his customers. He has them on order all the time, but never gets them sent.

There is a company in Germany that has them, plus lots of other types of wild angels and discus. The only problem is that you will need an import license to get them through customs.

I will try and re-find there web site. You could pass there mname on to one of your LSF to see if they will import them for you.
