hello i was thinking about putting 2 angel fish into my 35 gal. It has nothing in it right now and is fairly planted. Would they fit?

Yeah 2 angel will be fine in a 35 gal tank. BUt must upgrade the tank soon.

I think you could have a pair (that's a confirmed pair, not just two fish) in that sized tank, but I'm not sure. You might check over with the folks in New World Cichlids.

If its 18 inches tall you can. Angelfish need that minimum height tank I've been told...

it wouldnt be much of a problem i would say. angels get to a max of around 4-5inches in width only. but yeah the height of the tank would matter.

Yeah that would be fine as long as they have some space to swim. Even if they aren't a mating pair they'd be fine in a 35. The only time angels become really agressive is when there are two males and one female and they are fighting over her.

well just measured it and its a hex tank so i came to almost 2 feet. Would that be ok?
