Hey so at the moment I have 3 angelfish in a 75 gal tank, but tomorrow I'm going to go get 3 more then possibly some discus fish. It does seem sort of controversial online about whether or not it's a good idea to keep discus and angels together, but I see so many split opinions that its hard to find one to stick with. They're both beautiful fish, which is why I want them. Plus another thing, are discus good with plants? I'm been thinking of switching my aquarium to planted and would like fish that I know would do good in it. If discus don't, please tell me some other cool fish that will :)

Angel fish are more aggressive than Discus.

They are not suitable to be together unless the Angel fish are smaller.
Also according to some, the Angel fish may carry some diseases which the Discus are not immune to.
Plants are ok with any fish.

But most people keep bare bottom tank for Discus as it's easier to maintain the tank.
Also, make sure your plants don't carry any parasites.
You will need to sterilize your plants and quarantine time before introducing into your fish tank.

It's good to keep Angel fish in bigger numbers as they are schooling fish.
You can keep them with some other schooling fish that are not too small.
I will leave it to others to suggest as I am not an expert in Angel fish.
