At the moment my aquarium is infested with anchor worm, which I am treating it with Cupramine, and salt. As advised by lfs.

Does anyone have any proven methods for the eradication of the worm and larve?

thanks

What kind of fish and how much salt? For salt to be effective you are talking .3% solution which is 3 teaaspoons per gallon and a lot of tropicals cant take that. if its goldfish then they will be fine at that level.

Parazin P is the best anti anchor worm (lernea) treatment available in the UK
made by NT labs and any good lfs should have it in the pond department.

the guy said mollies will tolerate 1 teaspoon per gallon, he said you could almost nearly put them in a marine tank. But its not advised.

He also suggested Parazin P, but 1 tab treats 25 gal, and the tank is only 6.6 gal(us)

I'd have to cut the tab in quarters, he also said its not dvised to pull the worm out, because sometimes the head gets left behind in the fish. And it stresses them out too much!
