I'm setting up a 10 gallon tank, did a fishless cycle, waited until ammonia/nitrites were at 0, and did a 90% water change. Except now, my ammonia is reading between 1 and 2. I know my municipality adds chloramines to tap water, which will give me an ammonia reading, but is 2 ppm normal? Will my filter be able to handle it? I added Prime, which will hopefully help the shrimp I just put in. I live in the Philadelphia area, just in case anyone nearby has similar experiences.
