Am I Finally Finished Cycling?

Okay , after a massive carry on with my tank and after a carry on with the nitrate ect. My tank (to me) seems to be done? Last night I added 3ppm ammonia at 12am , right now it is half 5 in the afternoon, just tested my tank, ammonia is at 0 and nitrite is at 0. Can I add fish now... So bored looking at an empty aquarium all day

if you think its done id drop some fish in there! worst case do a water change! but i would wait to get some advice from more experienced people than me : )

From what I've been reading is that you need to keep dosing ammonia and it must drop to 0 along with nitrite within 12 hrs for 7 days. Once it is running 0 after 12hrs for 7 days, you are cycled.

No, the time frame for reducing to 0 is not 12 hours, it is 24 hours. Nor does it have to be like this for 7 days. If it is like this once you are likley good to go. But if you want to be double safe, do the same 24 hour test a 2nd time.

oh - great! im on my third time doing this so if this time works out am i good to put some fish inside of it ?

Do a big water change, get the tank up to temp and add fish
