Almost Total Loss

Our family went out Sunday and were gone all day. While we were out there was a storm that knocked the power out for several hours and tripped the breaker.. When we returned all the tanks were filled with dead fish. The thermometer read over 100 F.! I found only one survivor that I hope makes it; a little Schwartzi cat. My daughter was really upset. For the time being we are keeping an eye on the survivor and will start over eventually.

Thank you. The house got even warmer ; it was at 105 F. when I got around to checking.

Really sorry to hear that, you have my sympathy- it must be very tough coping with what you are going through right now.
How many fish did you lose in total?

sorry to hear this, and reminds me that i should start watching for small UPS systems.

Tokis there were about 80 total; mostly fry with 15 aldut corydoras and some platy and guppy.

My heart really goes out to you, we had something similar happen and I know how upsetting it can be.
