I have 3 albino cories who devour my Hikari sinking wafers when I put them in. Not sure how often to drop them in--I usually drop one in my tank on Friday and Monday. Should I feed more?

I also have 2 ottos. They never seem to go near the sinking wafers. Do I need to buy specifically, algea wafers? the Hikari sinking wafers say they are for bottom feeders, and do have algea in them, but it's not the first ingredient. Thanks.

I dont claim to be an expert and may be wrong but I have 3 cories, one albino, one spotted (not sure the name) and one peppered.

I use Tetra variety wafers and they have been quite happy and healthy for a long time now,( infact all the fish I have seem to love them, my angels, mollies and most of all my pangasius catfish) I dont use the alea wafers because they are more for plecs but Im sure they would eat them. They also like the small black catfish pellets if they can get there before the pangasius...

You could try them but as my old dad said..."if it aint broke, dont fix it"

My two albino corys prefer Wardley shrimp pellets and they'll come out of hiding if I've attached a tubifex worm cube to the side for my tiger barbs.

My bronze corydoras will nibble on anything but seem to really like the algae wafers. My bronze cory babies really liked the presoaked and mushed up algae wafers as well, more than micro worms or flake or dried bloodworm or anything else I've placed in there.

As far as when and how much it doesn't hurt to start small then adjust up until they start leaving food behind.

I'm not an expert either, btw.
