Algae on my corral

There is algae grow on my corral ornament, i have tried the normal chemicals but it never seems to work, if i remove the corral is there a way to clean it off without scrubbing as it is obviously fragile?

You have real, (dead obviously), coral in a freshwater tank? What kind of fish do you keep in it? Coral dissolves slowly in freshwater, raising pH and hardening the water. It is rarely a good thing in a f/w tank.

I would have thought a hypochlorite bleach would remove the algae stains without damaging the coral, but you'll need to rinse it well and soak it in some tapwater conditioner before using it again.
