Hello all,

I have just baught an albino shark. I know they are semi aggresive but there is a large space for him to swim in. Should i get him moved out of my tank? Please look at my signature to see if he will be okay with the fish i have in the tank.

Regards

Gary

They are aggressive but your tank is pretty large, so you might be okay. It depends on how big the shark is and the cories and clown loaches. They will probably be fine until they get to about 4 inches. Most people say they get aggressive once they reach that size so count your cories every day. The clown loaches should be fine unless they're very small, like under 2 inches.

Also fiddler crabs aren't freshwater (at least the kind you have probably aren't) and they need land to survive. :)

Hello

I had one of these, and unfortuntely I had to get rid of it a it decided it was going to attack my fighter and guppies, but the one I had was quite big! They do need their own space (a castle or a cave of some kind) and are very good algae eaters.

On the other hand, my friend had one with her fighter (a much smaller one) and it was placid as anything unless something tried to go into his boat, he would just chase them off! They are a beautiful fish, they just need an eye kept on them.

When I had my albino shark it was fine for a while, once it matured a bit more it pestered all of it's tank mates - so I had to return it to my lfs. They are usually ok to a point then they get a bit aggressive and nippy. It may be ok since your tank is a reasonable size.
