Ahem. A Question On Coconuts!

I heard that coconut shells can be used as spawning caves for corys. Is this true? If not, can they still be used as shelter?

Yeah, you can either make them yourself
buy a coconut drill a large hole half way down and then saw in half, scrape out the coconut and boil a couple of times. To disguise them to blend into the aquarium decor then cover the outside with Riccia and place a ladys hairnet over this to keep it on the shell.

I use them all the time. Like someone said with riccia, I put java moss on mine with a cotton hairnet and it looks great my corys and bristlenose's love them.
