I have a question about stocking my 55. Currently there are 4 angels, 6 bronze cory cats and a gold nugget pleco. Its been up and running for close to 2 years now. I was thinking about adding a small school of cardinals. Would this be ok or is it considered overstocking?

Space-wise it would be ok depending on the filtration, but the Angels will eat the cardinals in time.

:D oh goodies, another person to brainpick! hehe.
Since you want tetras but your angels will eat them.....have you thought about Flagfin Shiners? They resemble tertras/ red tailed sharks, and get a bit over two inches long-they are pretty chunky and should be able to fend off an angel attack. :D..Very easy fish to keep, they dont require alot of work at all! :fun: If you cant catch them yourself (i dont know where you live) you can try a bait store-but keep them in a seperate tank until you are sure they are healthy. They are amazing fish with great personalities. :D  Brightly coloured too! They are a schooling fish-so get no less than three or they will remain stressed out and eventually might die.
