Adding Sand To My Tank

when ive cleaned my tank out . all the water is out of my tank ..

then im stuck i havent got a clue how to add sand lol

any ideas thanks

I always keep the water in the tank when adding substrate. It helps to more evenly distribute the sand/gravel/whatever and doesn't result in a large crater from where the water gets poured in.

If you haven't done it already, wash the sand thoroughly before adding it to the tank to clean the dust out. Then put it in and add the water, or add the water and put it in. If you go with adding the water back, keep the filter and anything else off until you're done and the sand has settled.

ya fish luv it ,theyll scoop up some sand to help them to digest
