Looks nice, but I wouldnt have taken out ALL the java moss, maybe just trimmed it, or took out lots and kept some in.

I'm in Canada. The java moss is actually still in there; it is mostly replacing the hygrophilia that was under the hornwort. The foreground plant I added is not cheap, so I'm going to have to let it fill out. It's also a very high light plant, so Java Moss everywhere is not going to help matters. The remainder of the Java Moss went to another tank.

lilaeipsis here is pretty cheap and i tried it in my aquarium and it juts wouldnt spread !!!! just stayed there and gathered algae eventually, i think i was because i only had around 2.5 WPG around that atime, i haven't tried it since then :) i like your second tank more, but the first one looks more natural :p hehe

Great natural, low-tech look Yenko. I think a dark background would improve the overall effect.
True, the white background looked better with the original concept I had, but since I decided I wanted more of a solid background of plants. I might find some black paper or fabric today and see how it looks.
