I really like to look through this file for ideas, on aquascaping, and goals to achieve with my tanks… though I’m not a huge fan of the “over planted” tanks, by looking at these pictures, I see lots, that have a good balance, that I personally strive for… and clicking any of the pictures, give all the specifics of each individual tank…

Hey!

I don't know if it's just me, but I think I've gotten an overdose of the aquascaping landscape style aquariums. They are surely stunning yes, but many are planned to be as if landscapes and such which are also planned to arouse emotions with stark contrasts, features and details and extremely lush planting. To me, they don't really look like aquariums anymore though. They're sure stunning, but they're as if something else.

When I stare at an aquarium often, I don't want it to "shake" my feelings up every time. Maybe I've just gotten an overdose but I prefer to see some "aquarium" looking aquariums with serenity and delicate plant details to stand out. Also fish themselves can be features. I for example enjoy the January 2023 very much. And that is what I tried to say: the individual plants stand out so well, so beautifully, as if painted. And give a serene feeling. There were some pearls in my eyes though on that page also, like this "The River Rescape". But I guess there are as many opinions as there are people.
