Bluegill get to 10"-12". I recommend at least a 55 for an adult bluegill, preferably a 75. Treat just like you would an oscar. Plus bluegill are cold water fish- no heater is needed nor should be used. Live plants will most likely be torn up and eaten aswell....

i think i did betterwell that why i said atleast a 40ill change it thoughtis my grammer any better

I did a TON of research into sunfish a couple months back in preperation for getting a large tank and stocking it with sunfish and a few other natives. I spoke with several north american native fish keepers and joined a forum that works soley with them and they all seemed to have a basic agreement on them.
Some sunfish can be kept well in a 40g, just bluegill are the largest of them..
Hopefully I shall add some in depth guides on keeping sunfish to the official care forum in the coming weeks...

ya like the redear sunfish get i think 6 - 8 inches is my grammer any better

I think maybe you should work on experiencing fish instead of writing caresheets... It seems to me you just don't even bother with it, write a few sentences and call it good. That's not a good technique at all, and judging from the lack of positive responses, I really think you should put some effort into it.

lol 1 letter lol k.j ive had pet bluegills before its from my experience ok k.j

put spaces after your periods and commas. And "U" is actually spelled "You". You might not think it makes a difference, but it does. Your spelling needs some work, you should type this up in a word processor like Microsoft Word. Also, what is the point of this sentence? "Oh I forgot to get a good dechorlinator like stress coat then stress zyme."
