I have been offerd a 55 gallon tank, with 60 gallons of filtration( bio-wheel). I am not sure If I am going to get it or not, but I might as well be prepared. It has a pleco, alot of feeder guppys( home-bred) and 1 bala shark, I silver dollar. I am going to get rid of all these( maybe not the pleco). I wanted to know of any good suggestions for fish in it. I dont want to spend alot of money whatsoever. All help will be appreaciated.

if you narrow it down more, people will post alot :) do you want schools of fish? big ons smalls ones? whats your ph. stuff like that

Yea... community, semi aggressive, aggressive, cichlids, tetras, oddballs?

Don't know too much about cichlids or livebearers, sorry. Someone will come along and help pretty soon though. :good:

I wouldn't bother with livebeares no go in them, and you had them and learnt that for yourself.

I like livebearers, but I want more interesting fish for this tank. If I even get it. So what would you suggest, anything goes.

You should get some puffers. They have so much personality. There alot like having a little puppy dog, if there kept healthy they well always greet you at the glass with there big puppy dog eyes and happy smile.

In my 55g I have 1 BP 1 Black convict and 1 FM. But maybe go with puffers, or Angels.
