Im getting some black sand tommorrow. Will black sand with live plants look nice???
Also what kind of fish shoud i add, I was thinking
20 Neon Tetras
10 Black Neon Tetras
1 Pleco
Can some help me

Siamese Algae Eaters, Bristlenose Plecos or Ottos all are good for eating algae if I'm not mistaken, the common Pleco can get huge I've seen one at Petco in Illinois that looked at least 5 inches wide at the head and about 10 inches long and what I here they can get even larger. I'm not sure about the Bristlenose I don't think they get over 6 inches the same with the Siamese Algae Eaters and the Ottos are about 2 inches which means you could probably have a good 6 in the tank.

ive seen a 24 inch pleco and an 18 inch pleco, people arent lying when they say they get big.

Otos are crazy algae eaters, they are known to starve in small tanks if they dont accept prepared foods since they just process so much algae until there is none left. But in that size tank it should be ok...

Remember, if theres no algae, dont get an algae eater.

Can someone put together at least 2 set ups
Like a Asian river set up and a South American River set up that will look nice for my tank. A peaceful community tank

I would add cories to your original set-up instead of the pleco, and once you start getting algae, add some otos. An alternative could also be cherry or amano shrimp, these also eat algae, and with your small tetras, there is no chance they will get eaten.
