Fish Fanatic
hi all,
I have a 125 litre tank, cycled with 5 danios (wish I had done it fishless, and am now fishless cycling my other tank), when stats (ammonia, nitrite) were finally zero for 2 days, i did a 30% water change and added 3 swordtails and 1 albino bristlenose (small). I have checked the stats EVERY day since adding them (5 days now) and both ammonia and Nitrite has remained at Zero, I have not seen even the slightest raise in levels.
so, is this normal? and if they are still zero at weekend, can i add my 2 dwarf gouramis? (after a partial water change of course, which is due anyway).
I use the Master test kit (liquid kit), and my other tank shows ammonia when i put it in and very high Nitrite, so I know my kit is OK.
many thanks
Dave
