3d Ultrasound Pic Of My Baby @ 20 Weeks

3D ultrasounds are fairly newish to the world, and I have a pic here that was taken 13 weeks ago of my baby boy.

At this stage he was 20 weeks gestation.

Yes he does look a little alien like, but he still has no fat on him in this pic and he is not fully developed. But now at 33 weeks gestation he would look very very developed and normal.

So anyone who is pregnant, or gets pregnant etc, try and get a 3D ultrasound its well worth it compared to the normal type (also added a normal ultrasound pic taken on the same day)

i saw a programme a few months ago where they something simular to this with dolphins, puppies and elephants, was incredible to see the elephant sucking its trunk in the womb

That's amazing Rhiannon! I bet you end up framing it, I know I would.
When I had scans for my girls, they just looked like blobs. I could make out their arms, legs etc. but when I showed them to other people they couln't make anything out!

Yeah its very strange looking, but you have to remember they are only 20 weeks old there, so no fat on them what so ever. All skin and bones.

But its an amazing experience to watch, you can see wrinkles on the skin and all.
