I am getting rid of one of my 20g and replacing it with a 29g or 110L.

I plan to have:

5 False Julii Cory Catfish
2 Briselnose Pleco
3 Tiger Barbs
10 Fake plants
Aquaclear 50
100W submergable heater
Black gravel

How is this as a stocking level?

Also I want to redo one of my 20g or 76L

6 Huge Mussels
1 Mystery Snail
1 Trapdor snail
4 Honey Dwarf Gourami
3 Bronze Cory Catfish
3 Brochis Splenders
1 Rock
Whisper 40
Submergable 100W Heater
White Gravel

Sounds fine, although id add about 6 tiger barbs, not just 3.

Why plastic plant's? I keep a amazon swordplant with my sun-glo bul;b. Sun-glo is the fancy name for regular lighting!!!!! They are just trying to get more money! All you really need is some fertilizer and your good to go!

Yup, just suggecting a minimum :) the max is up to you and your keen eye for over crowding :) personally i prefer to base stocking levels on how crowded it is more then " per gallon (within reason).

29 Gallon.

2 Briselnose Pleco Staring at 3"
5 False Julii Cory Catfish 2"

With that setup you think I can add more then 3 Tiger Barbs? How many comfortably?

I already have 4 out of 7 tanks with live plants so I don't feel like doing another live plant tank

2 Bns and 5 cories on the bottom isnt a problem with 6 tigers.

Hi freshwaterfishlover :)

Brochis splendens are hefty fish and would do better, IMHO, in the larger and taller tank. The little honey gouramis are rather small and delicate to keep with these active fish. The C. aeneus, bronze would get along with them, but they are just about the same color. Perhaps you might want to consider the albino, just for some variety.

Have you done much research on the mussels? I don't know much about them myself, but it seems I remember reading something about them dieing off easily. Dead shellfish tends to pollute the water quickly, which is dangerous with corys, and other fish too.

I have 6 Mussels in the 20g already and 11 Asain clams in my 10g. My Brochis are not much more active then a normal Cory. The Brochis never bother the Honey Gouramis. In 1-20 that I'm going to upgrade to a 29 I have 3 Bronze Cory in 2- 20g I have 3 Brochis Splenders. In my 29g I have 4 Huge Sterbai Cories.

What do you guys think:

6 Tiger or Green Tiger Barbs
2 Briselnose Pleco
5 False Julii Cory Catfish

Not to Much?

Hi freshwaterfishlover :)

I think it would be OK.

I hope you don't think I meant that the brochis would be aggressive toward the little gouramis. That's not the case at all. However, if they are in good health, both corys and brochis do tend to get playful and sometimes dart to the surface to gulp air. This can be unsettling to small labyrinth fish that might be up there, and this could happen during the night as well as in the daytime.
