Fish Crazy
Sometime over the next few days I'll be getting a 29 gallon tank. I will be moving my guppies from a ten gallon, to the 29, along with four corys. There are 8 guppies. The ten gallon will be used as a fry tank, and eventually over the next few months, a few fry will be added to the 29 when they reach the right age.
My question is, with these guppies, few fry I decide to keep from the batches I get, and corys, will I be able to add a trio or two of platys? I know I'll get some more corys, and I don't want to overstock.
Now, I don't plan on adding all these fish at once. I also plan on running the ten gallon's filter along with the one I get with the 29g, so it won't have to cycle because the bacteria is already in the current filter.
I just want to be sure I can do this.
Or a different kind of fish any of you have to suggest? And, how many more corys will be okay in this?
