Well my 29 gallon tank has finally finished its cycled today. I am so happy. No more nitrites!!

I have decided to make it my 15 gallon tropical tank fish's new home. This will place a Betta, 6 glowlight tetras (probably 5 soon since Gramps is like 5 years old :/ he is so old looking.. all white and stuff now.. I think he is blind too) 4 black neons and 1 neon tetra.

anyway what can I do with it? I was thinking of just adding all black neons and making a shoal or half glowlight half black neon tetra shoal. how many tetras can i add? and what is a large fish that I can add as a center piece?

oh I see

sorry, theres alot of these kinda posts at the mo and i think people are finding it hard to cope lol.

dont take it personally. :) :)

personally id put the beta in his own tank. the 15 would be kewl with the beta, some frogs and snails.

otherwise youll find the tetras will start to nip and you can almost gurantee that any other fish you add wont be compatible with the betta.

then id get my stocking numbers right so all fish are comfy, well i say that but u jus need a few more neons to make it 4 (at least).

then for centerpiece fish (you have alot more option without the betta) id go with either dwarf gouramis or bolivian rams as there both great fish with loads of personality.

gouramis are the dosy laid back fish and rams are the rockers with mohicans

but as i say, neither would work with the betta.

there too pretty and make all the other fish jealous i reckon.

Betta would be happy with frogs and snails? :/

Betta will very happy w/snails and frogs. Mine loves his snails, of course he quite enjoys flaring at them too.
