Hi, I have a planted 240l fluval tank, at present I have:

3 angels
2 pearl gourami
2 gold gourami
2 blue rams
5 cardinal tetra, did have 7 but lost 2, will add more when tank more mature.
3 silver molly
2 dalmation molly.

my question is, is this stocking ok? and if I can add more what would you recommend?

thanks
Andy

You might have problems with the gouramis if you have multiple males there.

Two of the Angels will pick on the third when they pair off (unless you have all three of the same sex).

Mollies will take over the tank if you have any females there.

Otherwise looks ok. Personally, I would add another 10 cardinals and leave it at that. Careful not to get ones which are too small, or the angels could eat them!

thanks for the advice, im pretty sure one of the gold gourami is male and the other gold and 2 pearls are female. Would it be worth adding another angel so the odd one wont get bullied by the other 2 or is it too late now? also how to you tell if the angels are male or female?

I personally would keep at least 6, from previous experience with them, but I would also want a larger tank as well, for that many. Other people might tell you that another one would be fine.. I think if I was given a tank like that, I would just remove the third when two paired off.

With great difficulty unless they are spawning. You can search for instructions on the internet if you are really determined to try.
