The seller tells you what the squeeze bulb is for

It is to start the siphon without you having to suck the pipe. You fit it "in line" and squeeze it a few times & the siphon will start.

A siphon is a device used to suck the water and dirt out of your tank when you do your weekly water change.

How do you clean your tank? If you don't know how to use this, please post and we will help you. It's important, and everyone has to learn sometime if they want to keep their fish healthy.

Becoming a mod at TFF is not an easy thing to do, First there has to be a need for us to pick a new one, for example, an old mod might retire.

Then the other mods usually discuss it and often several names are suggested. We look for members who have been with us long enough that they seem committed, and have extensive experience in a particular area. After a time the list gets narrowed down and we recommend this person to William (our Admin) If he agrees with our choice, that person is made a mod.
