Ok, my grandma bought me a 20 L and it is for my new russion tortoise. My bearded dragon is getting a bigger newer cage soon and the tortoise will take his old one leaving me with a 20L for my guppies. But i want some strnge unique fish to put with them.

I want somethin small that is not dangerous towards the guppies.

Any ideas? And is those eel/snake/mudpuppy type things at like walmart and petsmart dangerous? thanks!

To be honest you wouldn't really have room for anything other than guppies. Thay like to have some room to swim around and 20l is quite a small tank.

maby it's a 25 gallon.... i think maby the 20l wasn't the volume, i'm a little slow lately >_>

anyway, there isn't many guppies, and that tank, whatever size it is, is plenty for another small fish. would maby a little angel fish be good? can anyone giv me the name of one of those long snake type fish with little fins in places like walmart and petsmart so i can read about them?

p-inc, are you talking about a 20-long or a 20 liter tank? either way, you couldn't house one of the "long snake type fish" at Walmart. (those fish would also either like to snack on your guppies or snack on the guppy fry.)

If you tell use the measurements of the tank we could tell you the volume of the tank :good:
length, width + hight

yeah i think we need to properly establish the size of the tank before we can advise you what other fish to put in there. if you give us the dimensions either in cm or inches and we'll work it out for you.

the 'eely' things could be one of a few things i think, if you stick these into google image search you should find it, axolotl, bichir, moray, mudskipper or there are a number of different aquatic eels that it could be.

alternativley if you can get a pic of them then we'll give you an ID.

:)

this tank will only have the non-active guppies, the non pregnant ones, and the ones that just had fry and are recovering. So there won't be too much room taken up by the guppies.

it is...

30 length x 12 width x 12 highth

well, if those long snake type things are dangerous against guppies, anyone have any ideas? i've been looking online for wierd fish i can afford, coolest thing i could find was a freshwater flounder :X
