Ok, hows this for my 20 gal: 6 tiger barbs, 6 zera danios, and 1 dwarf gourami?
That seems just about right don't it? Would I be able to add 4 corrys with that?

sounds fine to me, and the cory's shouldn't be too much of a problem either.

What sort of filter are you using?

A Top Fin 30 stick on back filter that uses charcoal filter bags :)

BTW, I've had this tank up and running for about a month now with 3 tiger barbs, 3 zebra danios, 1 dwarf gourami, and 12 other tetras. I think that tank is a bit crowded(not too much though), but almost all the fish I have like to remain in schools of 6 and I have them in groups of three. I was thinking maby I should bring back the others and keep the tigers, danios, and gourami, and then get some more of the barbs and danios to make 6 schools of each.

All my water perameters are great, 0 amonia and 0 nitrite. (Can't say that about my 5 gallon betta tank though  )

sounds alright. if you add the cories though you might have some difficulty getting food to the cories at the bottom , considering the enthusiasm of the other fish listed during feeding time

That stocking sounds fine. As furryrabbit said, getting food to the bottom may require some skill. Try feeding them sinking pellets at night, after you've fed the others. That should help.
Good luck!

Cool :) Don't worry about food gettin to the bottom, I've got some nice sinking tablets that my previous corrys loved. B)

I've never kept tiger barbs, but they have a reputation for being incredibly nippy unless kept in big numbers in roomy tanks.
Dwarf gourami have tempting finnage and are not aggressive or fast (at least, mine wasn't)....
Are you sure it will work out in the long run? As I say, I haven't ever kept tiger barbs, but am going on their reputation alone.

ed- and with six tiger barbs , they will really only nip at each other IMO

Yup, I have Tetra Min Tropical tablets. Both my common plec I used to have and my old corry loved them. :)
