P.S. screw it, I search for pictures and the barb I mentioned looked nothing like the fish in question. I have seen that fish before, though.


Ah-ha, here it is, Barbus ticto. I knew I'd seen it before. :D

I would say some sort of Tetra or Barb. Possibly a rosy tetra or a red phantom tetra but it is hard to see the exact body color from this picture. If it wasnt for the dark red tail, I would say rosy tetra for sure but then again, i am not an expert on fish ID.

I don't know... I'm pretty damn sure it's a Ticto Barb in breeding condition. Doesn't look at all like any Tetra to me. :drool:
