10 Ramshorn And 10 Mts In Main Tank Or Not?

Hi All,
 
i am going too be recieveing 10 ramshorn and 10 mts in the next few days.
 
my idea was to feed them to my 3 assassin snails.  150 litre tank.
 
1) could i put 20 snails in just like that??
 
2) will they be able to have babies before my 3 assassin snails eat them all so there is a continuous food supply?
 
3) do assassins eat the shell as well?? ( ammonia spikes etc)??

Depends on how big the snails are. And just so you know, assassin snails don't have to have snails to survive. They will eat leftover food on the bottom and be fine. Plus, even when you don't think you have any pest snails left, you'll keep finding empty shells. And no, the assassins don't eat the shells. You'll have to syphon them up. I don't know if the new ones will have time to lay eggs before they're eaten, but likely they will.
