im starting a 1 us gallon pico reef using a razzle dazzle tank

for the filter im gonna use a drum probable holding 1-4 gallons with live rock rubble in im using a a 420lph pump (only one ive got)

so the tank will have at most 42 x turn over per hour and at least 21x turn over per hour

and id like to know what corals would be ok under it its got either a 8 watt or 11 watt bulb

id also like to know if there was any things like shrimp or crabs that could go in here

GET A DWARF SEAHORSE!!! THEY ARE SOO COOL! and for the corals, i think u might be able to get some mushrooms. FOR CRAB U MUST!!! GET A POM POM CRAB. those are AWESOME! the seahorse and the pom pom crab suits ur tank very well. u should go for sexy shrimp too .

if ur going to consider the dwarf seahorse, research before buy. but they are pretty easy compared to other seahorses and they breed around the clock if u got a pair.

Dwarf seahorses need to be kept in a group and while they do need a smaller tank a 1g is not imo suitable. Also a PomPom crabs with seahorses is also an extremely bad idea as you definitely dont want a seahorse getting stung (and crabs in general with seahorses is a bad plan). They also need constant feeding of baby brine shrimp which means you have to be prepared to continuously culture these as well.

Sexy Shrimp would work well and possibly peppermint shrimp. Probably get away with zoas and mushrooms in there.

so if i had zoas and mushrooms

could i have a pom pom crab and like a peppermint shrimp

change of plan im making a 10 inch x4 inchx 4 inch tank


and making a miniture rio 400

im using 40 bright white cristmas leds and 15 blue leds for lighting i dont knoww wattage but is it the same corals ok as it looks just as if not brighter than the 11 watt

also my other 1 gallon will be pico just not yet
