waterproof cameras

I am interested in what cameras, techniques are best for fish photography. Also, does anyone use a waterproof camera, and if so is it a better option for getting up close? I use a Panasonic Lumix FZ100, on a tripod if I am doing it properly, with a remote shutter. I also have a macro lens...
