am i cleaning too much?

Just wondered what peoples maintenance routine was?   I currently replace approx 25% water each week doing a good vacuum at same time and also scrub the glass to remove any algae build up.     I clean the filter media by dunking in used tank water probably once every 3 months.   I have been told...
