like ben said some have no interest in hosting. also give them some time sounds dumb but it may take a bit for the clowns to find it. my clown took almost 2 weeks for him to find the anemone he found it and then he found my hammer which he now hosts. so give it some time they may end up...

yeah as rabbut says its hard to say why my cyano wont go away but...if i do add any more fish it would just be 1 more percula clown to give my guy a mate. or a small green clown goby but other than that i like my fish options as they are in the 40 gallon breeder. if anything more corals for sure!

i woke up this morning and he was dead laying next to my hammer coral. im very dissapointed he was doing so well fat and died. he was easily my favorite fish in the tank.

my mandarin has been doing very well for the past 8 months in my tank from the biocube to my 40 breeder i have loads of copepods and amphipods hes fat everday to the point he looks like he may explode. but just recently he has been sitting in the corner of the tank not doing anything just...

i got a wrasse the other day! i cant get pics hes to quick. he is a red flasher wrasse. the top of him is red bottom is white and he has blue lines kinda like yours.

look hard around your tank haha...do you have any cats or dogs maybe ate it if it jumped out? i had 2 firefish jump out didnt find them for 2 days turned out they jumped out and landed next to my computer mouse :lol:

mine runs 78-80, it usually hits 80 after my halide has been on for full 6 hours

yeah i noticed one of them has the neon green with eggs and the other has like 50+ eggs under his stomach right now...i guess they will just become fish food

so today i discovered my 1 cleaner shrimps stomach is like a neon green color and if you look close enough you see tons of little circles like eggs. ive been reading around it seems it is in fact pregnant. but the chances of raising them seems like rediculously hard.

you should defiantly see a diff especially if you do a blackout.

im not 100% sure but im pretty sure frogspawn shouldnt touch another coral..but since they are in the same family not sure but id spread them apart a bit to be on the safe side.

If you're tank is still cycling thats fine, chances are its not going to pull a entire lot out there probably isnt much in the tank to begin with. Once you start adding food, chemicals, and your fish start going to the bathroom you will notice a increase in the stuff that it pulls out.

i have this stuff too all over my sand, it seemed to get worse after doing a water change so i havent done a water change yet in a week in a half and have cut the hours on my lights back an hour and it seems to be going away.

my halide is on from 11am - 6pm, actinics are on from 7:00 to 8:00

The main pump in my biocube 29 gallons has blown. Has anyone replaced these by finding the same pump or replacing it with a after market pump.

ive also heard adding them at night is best because like KJ said your fish will eat them.

yeah that may be a tuff journey considering the fact pods are relatively small...im not sure and dont wanna give you a answer on if they are making it cuz if they are going through filters may be a tuff journey. Maybe ski will come along and answer that one for ya.

is there a tube that leads from the refugium to your display tank for them to travel from one to the other? Actually is that refugium part of the sump?

youll probbaly have a huge outbreak of copepods. and honestly once you have 1 outbreak of copepods its hard for 1 mandarin alone to eat them all. IMO i dont care what anyone says, i have a 40 breeder and my mandarin is fat every day from sun up to sun down, ever since i had 1 outbreak he hasnt...
