One of my girls has dropsy at the moment, the tanks been treated with anti internal and some epsom salts and shes still alive, shes been pineconed for over a week, im surprised she's still going! Id keep medicating for internal bacteria or maybe totally sterlise the tank

sorry to say there is little you can do, the meds may help a little but its unlikely that you can cure him. Dropsy isnt a disease itself its just a symptom and usually once its happened its too late to make much difference. Just keep him warm and clean

I dunno about ireland but if you buy from aquabid (or anywhere abroad) and are in the UK, you need an import lisence to legally import the fish. Ive have lots of bettas posted to me they hvae all been fine, ive had 2 from kev also fine, they dont generally die in transit unless something unusual...

More than likely its alage, your betta is probably either gets too much sunlight and or is over fed. You will also get a film on the water from slime mould/bacteria and dust or oil.

pk x vt is usually a vt with slightly shorter fins. But I guess it could be from that, I dont personally know

I actually really like spade tails (you havent included those)

I only feed mine every other day about 10 pellets a time
