no they get along fine ...first few days i had him in a floating fish hatchery so he could get used to her,and aslo it gives her time to find a sleeping place... then they were fine ...every so often he had to go back(inside so to speak) if he got a bit boisterous...now they get on fine .... she...

hi i have had a male betta fish for 5 months now and with in the last month the fish has started to act quite lazy ...just hanging about drapped over an internal thermometer ...i put this down to the increased tempeture due to a hot 3 or 4 weeks...but with in the last few days i have noticed...

i put some water from the tank in a plastic box...(open top) and placed it above the tank lid so the light unit should keep the temp up... currently the temp is 24f - 75 cel. in the box...will keep an eye on it ....whats the min temp. for a betta.. i am trying to keep the male,so i left him in...

spoke to another fish shop.... i think it may of banged itself against the glass .. and broken it jaw or dislocated it... he pretty much said that it may fix itself or not.... one of them goes a bit mad when the light goes out in the tank...and hits the sides of the tank.. i think it may be...

hi i have just disocered that one of my cardinals has lockjaw (according to the shop i got them from) it tries to eat but is missing the food... as it cant close its mouth is there anything i can do to cure it... or how is it caused.....
