I would suggest a betta but they only live for about 2 years. Maybe you could get some ghost shrimp(which look totally awesome :hey: ) and some gentle schooling fish. Hope that helped.

I would recommend keeping the mirror out of the tank and holding it up to the glass every now and then.

i'm more of a 2 1/2. The cups are okay. I like to stick my bettas in bigger tanks after I bring them home but I save the cups for emergency reasons.

Fill the bowl or tank with regular tap water and add some conditioner (or you could do what I do and leave the water out for a day :P ). A filter isn't necessary but if you don't have one, you'll have to do a water change every week. What type of betta? whatever type you like the best! Just a...

They look alike to me. I've been told that the paradise fish have confused those bettas for their own kind and have attacked them.
