I'm studying to be a veterinary technician and currently work at an emergency vets office and volunteer with 5 animal welfare organizations. I have always had betta fish and two years ago started goldfish keeping with a japanese shubunkin in my 30g tank. After rehoming her to a lovely goldfish pond I aquired three fancy goldfish and after becoming ill for a month decided that I could not keep up with the tank.. Now I'm back at it but without those messy pig goldfish. So I went to Marine Warehouse Aquarium and got three black finned tetras and added my female betta to the tank, then a guy down the street gave me his 8 zebra danios, 1 gourami, 1 chinese algae eater, and 2 unwanted catfish. <br />

Zebra the female Betta is always flashing those breeding stripes.. now to get her a boyfriend..
