I thought i'd rewrite my previous question due to lack of reponses because most people didn't know what I was trying to do. I am trying to convert my freshwater tropical tank into a Fish only or Fish only with live rock setup, can anybody explain how this can be done? eg. what I have to buy...

to make things simpler i am trying to either make it a fish only system or a fish only with live rock.

I was looking for a real expert to tell me how to change my freshwater tank into a marine tank. I have been told so many sides and i was wondering how to do it and what parts of my freshwater tank I can keep. thanx :D

I agree with phlawed as I also have my 55g tank on a coffee table and it works out fine. You really only need to buy the tank and remember, don't let those fish shop workers talk you into buying something that isn't neccessary. :)

yes i have been doing everything right. regular water changes, cleaning regularly etc. i dont use pesticides in the yard (i hope nobody else does) and ive heard of people feeding their oscars anything and they get sick very easily.

I havent tested my water in a while but last time i checked everything was alright I only know that my ph level is 7.5. i havent fed them any insects i find in the backyard like worms etc. should i feed them those.

I need help, my oscars don't eat their food. They are tiger oscars of about 8cm length, i feed them oscar show (for adult oscars) and im not sure if they arent eating because something is wrong with them or because the food is for adults. The food does seem a little big when they try to...

Hi my name is Zach and i live in Australia, I currently have a 55 gallon tank with 2 koi angels (recently sold all of my other fish incl. royal plecs, saratoga jardini etc.) and they seem pretty happy for now (also breeding.) i hope to make good use of these forums. Zach :)
