Hello, I’ve been struggling with keeping the Algae out of my tank, I’ve removed fish, cleaned the glass, only keep the light on for 6 hours a day, cleaned my filter water cleaned the pipes that had algae on them and done a 50% + water change and yet nothing, I’m unsure what I can do now besides...

Hey, do the little snails cause algae build up? Theres like 10+ in my tank, they keep laying eggs it’s annoying since some are in hard to find places

This is the filter I have, it has the beads in it and the filter pads and the floss, the pump part is broken but seems to work fine, I’ve never had this problem before I’ve had the fish about a year now and had more fish before and never had the problem but now even after having less fish it is...

If I clean my tank I try to reuse the floss, and if I get new floss I soak it in the old water, I’ve brought some more water safe and going to try and get some more plants, which would you say is like the number 1 best plant to get?

Hey, I don’t throw away my filter media, I try to reuse it but sometimes I have to clean the inside of my filter because snails have got in there and keep breeding

I try my best to clean it at least once a month, but the gravel cleaner does not really work as well because I’ve got sand so it just sucks sand into the cleaner

What floating plants do you recommend? Also where should I buy them
