thanks, my concern is I will be going from 14 inch fish to 1-3 inch fish. I am sure that some bacteria will die when I introduce some fish because the load will be so different, but am hoping that if I can 10 rainbow fish, maximum size 2 inches, it will be enough to keep the tank established...

thanks I got home and all is well, I have strip tests and all of them are on the bottom range, safe level, I did do a quick water change, only a 1/3, i fed them last night. I think it was just a sick fish, I will continue to monitor the water daily thanks again yoshi's dad
