I tore down a 20 gallon tall tank with a tiger lotus that started from one large bulb. Ended up with 8 more bulbs in my substrate!

Celestial Pearl Danios. Did great at first and even bred then it all went bad. They hid all the time so despite being beautiful fish could not enjoy them. Tried to increase the numbers but kept getting sickly or doa fish. They all eventually passed and I never want to keep them again.

I would say it's a normal goby thing. I do not have floaters in my tank however occasionally see my gobies on side of tank with half of their bodies out of the water.

I've noticed new tankmates sometimes bring on aggression in danios. I would separate and medicate him for now until he heals. Might be a territory squabble, rearranging some of the decor could help.
