I was always told that it was 5 inches per gallon. So is it 1 inch or 5 inches? Or is 5 inches the safe way? xxNeferitixx

Hello all, I'm new here. I'm the owner of two 29 gallon tanks. One with an oscar and the other with semi aggressive fish. I also have a 10 gallon feeder fish tank and another 10 gallon community tank. I also have 2 cats and a rat terrier puppy. xxNeferitixx
