The guy in the shop said that he would be okay on his own (as I did ask him), and said it's best to see how I get on with him because he might get kinda big (as my tank is pretty small) Would you suggest getting another? How big do they generally get?

I feel so stupid. I dont know what size the tank is, BUT it's not very big at all. I also dont have any strips to test the water, but I figure I should get some? The fish that's doing it is the orange one >> and the other fish in the tank are 6 black neon tetras, and 6 neon tetras. So 13...

Great thanks guys, that's really helped. I think I probably have been feeding them far too much tbh, so I'd say thats the biggest part of my problem...I'm going to cut down how much I feed them now, I just didnt want them to starve :( lol
